Continuing our adventure, we journey to Meknes, a city steeped in 17th-century heritage and grandeur. Indulge in a leisurely lunch amidst the historical ambiance of Meknes, followed by a tour of the city’s iconic landmarks, including the historic walls of the medina, the impressive Bab el Mansour gate, and the revered Moulay Ismail shrine.

As the afternoon unfolds, we set our sights on Fes, the cultural heart of Morocco, where we will spend the night. Prepare to be enchanted by the labyrinthine streets, vibrant markets, and rich history of this imperial city as we delve into the next chapter of our desert journey.

Today, our journey takes us deeper into the rich tapestry of Moroccan history as we explore the ancient streets and alleys of Fes, the oldest city in Morocco. Our exploration begins with a visit to the majestic Royal Palace gate, a symbol of the city’s regal heritage.

Delve into the multicultural fabric of Fes as we explore the Jewish quarter and the historic Mellah, which dates back to the 16th century. Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of the medina as we navigate through its labyrinthine alleys and discover hidden treasures at every turn.

After a hearty breakfast at your hotel, we set out on an unforgettable journey to Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Our route takes us through the captivating landscapes of Errachidia and Erfoud, where you’ll marvel at the ever-changing scenery as hints of the desert emerge on the horizon.

As we traverse the mesmerizing Tiz Ntalghamt pass and the majestic Ziz Gorge, you’ll be treated to panoramic views that showcase the natural beauty of the Moroccan countryside. Upon reaching Errachidia, we pause for a delightful lunch, where you’ll have the opportunity to experience the warmth of Berber hospitality.

Continuing our journey along the picturesque Ziz Valley, we make stops to admire the breathtaking vistas and capture memorable photographs of the journey. Our next destinations are Erfoud, renowned for its fossils, and Rissani, home to a vibrant souk where you can immerse yourself in the bustling atmosphere of local trade.

As the afternoon unfolds, we arrive in Merzouga, where you’ll be greeted with a refreshing glass of mint tea before embarking on a magical camel ride into the heart of the desert. Experience the tranquility of the Sahara as you journey across the golden sands to our desert camp, where you’ll spend the night under the starlit sky. Indulge in traditional Berber music around the campfire and try your hand at sandboarding before retiring to your comfortable tent for a night of peaceful slumber amidst the desert serenity.

Rise with the first light of dawn to witness the breathtaking spectacle of the sunrise over the dunes of the Erg Chebbi desert. As evening descends, we arrive at our accommodation in the Dades Gorges, nestled in a local riad or hotel. Enjoy a delicious dinner amidst the serene beauty of the valley, surrounded by towering rock formations and lush greenery. Relax and unwind as you reflect on the day’s adventures, ready to embrace the wonders that await in the days ahead.

After a satisfying breakfast at the hotel, we embark on a picturesque drive through the stunning Dades Valley, known for its rugged beauty and the legendary “Way of the Thousand Kasbahs.” Marvel at the ancient fortresses that dot the landscape as we make our way towards Kalaa M’gouna and Ouarzazate.

Our first stop is the cinematic city of Ouarzazate, where you’ll have the opportunity to explore the famous film studios and learn about the fascinating history of Moroccan cinema. From there, we continue to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, the largest kasbah in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Step back in time as you wander through the labyrinthine streets of this ancient fortress, built by T-Hami El Glaoui.

As we bid farewell to the desert landscape, our journey takes us across the majestic High Atlas mountains. Sit back and enjoy the panoramic views of the rugged terrain and picturesque Berber villages that dot the landscape along the way.

Finally, we arrive in Marrakech, the vibrant heart of Morocco, where we will spend the night in a local hotel. Prepare to immerse yourself in the bustling atmosphere of this iconic city, filled with history, culture, and endless charm.
