As our path meanders, Ouarzazate emerges on the horizon. Nestled amidst the arid landscape, this city holds a cinematic secret. A visit to the Atlas Film Studios unveils the magic of movie-making in this unlikely desert setting. These decaying sets, though worn by time, offer a unique glimpse into the creative spirit that has graced this location.

Venturing beyond the city’s limits, we find ourselves at the doorstep of legends: the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. A UNESCO World Heritage Site and a canvas for cinematic masterpieces like Gladiator and The Kingdom of Heaven, this citadel exudes history from every corner. Continuing our odyssey, we traverse the vibrant palm grove of Jorf, a tapestry of life amidst the desert’s embrace. Our path leads us to the quaint town of Erfoud, where tradition thrives. As the sun gracefully dips below the horizon, a new chapter unfolds in the heart of the Moroccan sky. Arriving at the mesmerizing Merzouga Desert, anticipation swells as we make our way to the Haimas camp – our sanctuary amidst the dunes. Two nights of enchantment await, framed by starlit skies and the desert’s serene embrace.

Begin your day with a hearty breakfast at the base of the magnificent Merzouga dunes. Charged with the energy of the desert, we set our sights on the north, heading towards Rissani – a city that carries the echoes of the past, once the capital of the Alawish sultans. As you delve into its history, the layers of time come alive, revealing the stories etched into its streets and architecture.

Our journey continues as we traverse the enchanting Ziz Valley, where nature’s bounty flourishes against the backdrop of the desert’s embrace. The Middle Atlas Mountains unfold their splendor, leading us to the captivating town of Ifrane. Known as “the Moroccan Switzerland,” Ifrane’s charm lies in its European-inspired architecture and serene ambiance.

From the embrace of Ifrane, our final stretch takes us towards the cultural heart of Fes. As your time with us draws to a close, we ensure you have ample time to prepare for your departure.
