Our route takes us through the captivating High Atlas mountains and the enchanting Tizi-N-Tichka pass. Next, our journey leads us to the renowned Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, an iconic fortified village acknowledged as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Notably, this captivating Kasbah has graced the silver screen in numerous blockbuster movies such as Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy, and prominent TV series like Game Of Thrones. Continuing on, we head to “The gate of the desert,” Ouarzazate, where you’ll have leisure time for a delightful lunch. Finally, we’ll conclude our day’s journey in Boumalne Dades, where we’ll enjoy a tranquil overnight stay.

Following breakfast, we set off through the picturesque Dades valley, pausing at a vantage point that offers breathtaking views of the Dades gorges. Our journey then takes us to the Todra Gorges, where the Todra river has carved a magnificent canyon through the mountains, revealing high red cliff-sided walls. Feel free to explore and immerse yourself in the stunning beauty of the landscape. As we proceed, we pass through the enchanting palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad, with free time for lunch along the way.

In the afternoon, we arrive at the mesmerizing Sahara desert of Merzouga. Here, you’ll switch to camels and venture into the sandy expanse of the desert. We’ll make a stop at a high dune to witness the enchanting sunset, a truly magical moment. Continuing our desert adventure, we reach the luxurious desert camp, where Berber drums will serenade you while you dance around the campfire under the vast, starlit sky. A delightful dinner and an overnight stay in the camp await, providing a memorable experience amid the desert’s allure.

On the last day of the 3-day Marrakech to Fes desert tour, you’ll rise early to witness the captivating sunrise in the heart of the desert. After some leisure time for breakfast, we’ll return on camels to Merzouga, where our driver awaits. Leaving the desert behind, our next stop is the ancient capital of Tafilalet, Rissani. This bustling town remains a significant trading center in the region, boasting a vibrant souk bustling on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Take a stroll through Rissani’s lively market before continuing to Erfoud, where we’ll visit one of the workshops specializing in fossilized marble.

As we journey along the scenic Ziz river, we’ll pause for a panoramic view of the picturesque Ziz valley. Enjoy free time for lunch in Midelt before proceeding to the enchanting cedars forest, the habitat of the Barbary Macaques. Here, you can feed these fascinating creatures while exploring the forest’s natural beauty. Afterward, we’ll visit Ifrane, renowned for its cool climate, snowy landscapes, and alpine-style houses, earning it the nickname “the Switzerland of Morocco.”

Finally, our tour concludes as we drop you off at Fes airport or your accommodation, marking the end of an unforgettable 3-day adventure from Marrakech to Fes.
