Our tour begins with a pick-up from the airport, port, or your accommodation in Casablanca. Renowned as Morocco’s economic hub and its largest city, Casablanca offers a vibrant start to our journey. Our first stop is the Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in the country, majestically situated on the western coast, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Afterward, you’ll have some free time for lunch. We will then continue to explore the city, including a visit to the stunning Corniche of Casablanca. We’ll conclude the day with an overnight stay at a local hotel.
After breakfast, we drive along the coastline to Rabat, one of the imperial cities in Morocco, and the current capital. Then you will visit the highlights of the city including : The Hassan tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and The Kasbah of Oudaya. Free time for lunch. In the afternoon we head north through Ouazzane, to reach the Blue city of Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains. The city is famous for its buildings and alleyways painted in white blue. Overnight stay in a hotel.
After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely stroll through the charming alleyways of the blue city, Chefchaouen. Next, we’ll drive to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its well-preserved mosaics, pillars, and archways. After exploring the ruins, we’ll travel 30 km to the city of Meknes, renowned as the Ismaili capital and one of Morocco’s imperial cities. In Meknes, we’ll visit Bab Al-Mansour, the Sahrij Souani Basin, the Royal Stables, the Granary, and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Finally, we’ll continue to Fes for an overnight stay in a Riad.
After breakfast, we will explore the highlights of the city with a local guide. Fes, an imperial city, is also the cultural and religious heart of Morocco. Our day begins with a visit to the Royal Palace gate, followed by the well-preserved medieval Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We’ll start at the Blue Gate, or Bab Boujloud, the entrance to the old Medina. Inside, we’ll visit the Bouanania Madrasa, the Najjarine Fountain, the Tanneries, and finally, the Quaraouin Mosque and University, the oldest university in the world. Afterward, we’ll leave the Medina to explore the Jewish quarter, known as “the Mellah.” In the afternoon, we’ll drive to an ancient fortress for a panoramic view of the Medina and the city of Fes. We will then return to your Riad for the night.

After a warm breakfast, we drive south through Imouzzer to visit Ifrane. The city is famous for its low temperature, snow and also the alpine-style architecture houses -No wonder it is called the Switzerland of Morocco. Then we continue to cedars forest, where the Barbary macaques live. Feel free to feed them, while wandering in the forest. Later, we continue to Midelt, where we will have a free time for lunch. Then we drive to Merzouga through the Tizi-n- Tilghmt pass and along the Ziz valley. Stops will be made along the way for panoramic views. In the afternoon, we reach the Sahara desert of Merzouga. Then you switch to camels, and cross the sandy desert. You will make a stop on top of a high dune to enjoy the sunset. Finally, you continue to the desert camp. The camp is a combination between the traditional tents of nomads, and the luxury a hotel has. Where you can enjoy the Berber drums music, while dancing around the campfire, under vast open sky of stars. Dinner and overnight in the camp.

After breakfast, we continue our journey to Kalaa Magouna to visit the Rose Valley. In May, the annual Rose Festival takes place, where locals offer a variety of rose products, from perfumes and rose water to oils and cosmetics. We then drive through the palm groves of Skoura before reaching Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the desert. Here, we will visit the film studios where many famous movies have been shot.

Next, we visit the renowned Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village and UNESCO World Heritage Site. This iconic kasbah has been featured in numerous films, including *Gladiator*, *Alexander*, and *The Mummy*, as well as the TV series *Game of Thrones*. Our journey continues to Marrakech, driving through the Tizi-N-Tichka pass and the stunning High Atlas Mountains. We will stop for lunch and take pictures at various scenic spots along the way. Finally, we reach Marrakech, where we will stay overnight in a Riad.

In the last day, we drive north to Casablanca airport, we will make stops for panoramic views. Then transfer you to the airport . End of the 8 day morocco tour.
